This information is collected directly from you, only when you actively enter it in the app or submit a generation request. We do not read your messages, contacts, photos, or conversations in the background.

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers
• Performance Data: Crash reports and app performance metrics to improve our service

Sharing With Our Third-Party AI Service (OpenAI)

Message generation is powered by OpenAI, a third-party AI service. When — and only when — you ask the app to generate, rewrite, or suggest a message, the following data is sent to our server and shared with OpenAI to produce the result:

• The text you enter: your message idea, key points, or the message you asked to rewrite (including any text you shared into the app from another app)
• Conversation screenshots: the image itself, if you attached one to get a suggested reply
• Your generation settings: the selected tone, language, and message length

Your consent: the app asks for your permission before the first AI request is sent, and no data is shared with OpenAI until you agree. If you do not agree, nothing is sent and the AI features simply remain unused.

How OpenAI handles this data: content sent through OpenAI's API is not used to train OpenAI's models. OpenAI may retain API content for a limited period (currently up to 30 days) for abuse and misuse monitoring, after which it is deleted, as described in OpenAI's Privacy Policy and their API data usage commitments. We have confirmed these protections are consistent with those described in this policy.

Our server: requests travel through our own backend (hosted on Cloudflare), which forwards them to OpenAI and streams the result back to your device. Your message content and screenshots are not stored on our server. Your IP address is processed transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• AI Service Provider (OpenAI): as described in the section above, and only with your permission
• Abuse Reports: if you report a generated message as inappropriate, the reported message text and your generation settings are sent to our server and kept in our service logs so we can review the problem
• Payment Processing: subscription payments are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Analytics Services: we may use analytics tools to understand app usage patterns (data is anonymized)
• Legal Requirements: when required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

• Data encryption during transmission and storage
• Secure API connections with industry-standard protocols
• Regular security assessments and updates
• Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Message Content and Screenshots Sent for Generation: Not stored by us; processed transiently by our server and retained by OpenAI only for the limited abuse-monitoring period described above
